This site is a chronicle of  WSCC's partnership with Living Water International in drilling wells for villages in developing countries where clean water is a leading cause of disease and death as well as a major contributor to oppressive poverty.  We are seeking, through financially supporting and physically drilling at least one well per year, to live and respond as we believe Jesus calls us to the worlds water crisis.

You can play an active role in helping this cause through actively praying for our teams as they plan for their mission as well as financially supporting our efforts through online donations.  This year we will be traveling to a village in El Salvador August 19-26 2012 for our next well.

You can read about our past efforts here
You can see a slide show of photos from Guatemala here
You can see a video and updates from our 2011 team in Honduras here

We hope that you find this site informative and inspirational

Thanks for journeying with us,

El Salvador well is complete

Picture
our team of 12 returned on Saturday August 25th from a successful trip to a village in the area known as Las Tablas, Sonsonate.  The well was drilled at a depth of 165 feet and produced a great supply of clean fresh water to this community.  Our team also taught hygiene classes during the week to the woman and children which will provide a solid foundation for generations to come.  You can hear more about this trip, first hand, during our reporting service in the West Seattle Christian Church Activity Center on Sunday October 7th @ 10am
